This brand new book is very high quality, sewn binding, hard cased in dust wrapper, 416 pages, numerous colour pictures, acid free gloss paper. It corrects some significant errors extant about Bridge, and gives hundreds of long forgotten facts.
It’s not another ‘how to play” guide. It’s about the people, mostly now forgotten, who invented and developed the game, its rules and systems. It includes pictures and descriptions of early items connected with Bridge, for example Duplicate Boards and even early Bridge card tables.
