After partner's jump to 3
, as I was concerned that
partner might pass 4 , I
keycarded with 4NT (RKCB)
and got the response of 3 Key Cards. As we were playing MPs, and it looked like we had long Spades (J was a nice filler) and 6 Diamond tricks, I decided to bid 6NT. West led the 5
(I prefer Q lead as top of a
near sequence which looks like it might beat the contract).
With the 8 winning, we make 12
tricks as I ran the J and got 2 Spade
tricks to go with 3 Heart tricks, 6 Diamonds and 1 Club. Why so wild? After not declaring any of the first 18 boards of the session - I wanted a challenge!!! |
