Start up your browser - or whatever you do to get onto the Internet.

Then go to the following address -
http://online.bridgebase.com/

This welcome page allows you to read an Introduction, check through the features of BBO, update yourself on the FAQs and satisfy yourself that your privacy is handled properly.

When you are happy with all that - click on the yellow line to download the software.

The first page on the "download" procedure is a comprehensive guide on how to install the software and set yourself up to play bridge on line.

Have a good read.  Why not print it out and have a cup of tea (or something stronger) whilst you familiarise yourself with the procedure.

Then click item 2 and download the software.

This screen is the one that you will get every time that you log in to BBO.

On this first occasion you will need to click the "Register" button.

You will then be offered a form  on which to supply a "User name" (call it a nickname if you like) and a password. and, optionally, other information about yourself.

After you have registered, the next time you log in to BBO just type in your User name and Password (tick "Remember password" so that you wont need to do that again in future) and press the "Log in" button.

Welcome to BBO.
