Teams will move up or down the Ladder as follows : | |
| a | If the Defender Team wins, neither team will move; | |
| b | If the Attack Team wins, they will take the place in the Ladder currently occupied by the Defender Team; the losing Defender Team and all the teams in the Ladder between the two teams will move down one step; | |
| c | If the Defender Team does not attend or does not complete the match, the match shall be treated as won by the Attack Team; | |
| d | If the Attack Team does not attend or complete the match they will forfeit the match and move down the Ladder by 3 steps. | |
| 2 | Any disagreement as to whether a team has not attended or has not completed a match will be decided by the Laddermaster. | |
| 3 | Teams joining the Ladder will be inserted at a suitable point in the Ladder based on expected skill level. | |
| 4 | Teams which have not played a match during a period of 2 weeks ending on a Sunday will move down the Ladder by 3 steps. Holidays do not provide an excuse or exception to this rule. | |
| 5 | Teams which are on the bottom 3 steps of the Ladder who have not played a match during a period of 2 weeks ending on a Sunday will be removed from the Ladder. | |
