Acol at BBO - Pairs Registration

First, find yourself one or two partners :

Find one or two people you want to play with using BBO chat or BBO mail.

Please ensure that you all have enough time to play your share of at least 6 matches - each of 10 boards - within the calendar month.

You can be a member of more than one trio/pair - if you have the time for that extra commitment.

If you are really stuck - register as a single - then come back here after you find a partner(s) and register.

Choose a Captain or Coordinator

When you have found one or two partners, decide who will be the Captain.

The Captain will be the first named of the trio/pair, and will be responsible for :

> Sorting out the diary availability for every member of the trio/pair
> Arranging all the matches
> Choosing, or agreeing, which two players will play in a particular match
> Arranging for substitutions within the trio where that becomes necessary

When to register ?

The best time to register is before the 25th of the previous month.

However, entries can be made at any time. If you enter late, please remember that -

> Your trio/pair will still have a commitment to play 6 matches before the end of the month.

> Other trios/pairs may well have arranged their diaries and your matches may be more difficult to fit in.

Click on REGISTER (below) - that will start your email programme all ready to send a message to the webmaster.

In your email message :

> Type "Registration for xxxxx" on the subject line. (Replace xxxxx with your BBO name).

> Type the BBO name of all the members of your trio/pair with the Captain first, as your message.

Click on "Send". That's all you have to do and your trio/pair will appear on the League List as soon as possible.
