An Evening With Kath Nelson

Kath Nelson's Teaching Table in the Acol Club
at 7.30pm on 20 November 2016

We need to find six pairs to play in the exhibition teaching table which Kath will comment on. She will chat to the kibbers, will you bid or play as she expects?

We will invite the top six pairs from the
Acol tourney on Sunday 6th November 2016.
This is a swiss pairs, IMPs tourney held at 9.15am (UK time).

We will also invite the 7th pair to be reserves.

All members of the Acol tourney membership list are welcome to take part. Please ensure that you are enrolled at least 3 days before the tourney.

Two pairs will play, one NS and the other EW for the first round of four boards.

We will then swap to the next two pairs who will play the second round of four boards.

Finally, we will bring on the last two pairs to play the last round of four boards.

Don't forget

If you want to play in this tourney (or, indeed, any other Acol tourney) you need to join the tourney membership list.

Join the list here.

We will decide the order of play, and the pairs to play against each other, later and warn the relevant pairs by email on Saturday 19 November 2016.

Of course, if you do well in the Acol tourney but do not want to play on Kath's table, there is no compulsion - we will choose another pair. We will ask each pair to confirm that they wish to play and are available.

Substitutes who do not play Acol will not be eligible, and where we have a disconnection of an Acol player the original pair will still be eligible provided that they played at least eight hands together in the tourney.
