Pipin at Home raises £465

On a very wet Saturday, on 2 August 2008, 28 members of the club played bridge under canvas in Pipin's back garden.

Grazy arranged the movements and brought all the equipment needed for a successful day.

After the first pairs session we enjoyed lunch in a brief spell of sunshine.

The afternoon saw pot luck partnerships enjoying fun bridge. We ate tea while awaiting the results.

Graham presented prizes, which he had generously donated. Modesty prevents me from saying who came second, but it shows that miracles can happen in bridge!

Many many thanks to those who came to play.

Their generous donations will enable a profoundly handicapped child to be taken on holiday with HCPT - Group 1 which is lead by Matt - my son.
